Who we are

Established in 1995, Avenue Emus is a working emu farm run by Julie & Neville Thomas on their family farm at Avenue Range in the Limestone Coast Region of South Australia.  Julie and Nevile also farm sheep, cattle and goats on their property.  While Neville is kept busy with the rest of the farm, Julie provides farm tours of the emu farming facilities, providing visitors with a unique opportunity to get up close and personal and truly interact with one of Australia's most fascinating creatures.  Learn more about Avenue Emus farm tours.

Where we are

Avenue Emus is centrally located in the Limestone Coast Region between Naracoorte and Kingston, 12km north of the small village of Avenue.  An easy drive from anywhere in the Limestone Coast, and within easy access to the world heritage listed Naracoorte Caves, the coastal towns of Kingston, Cape Jaffa, Robe and Beachport and their rock lobster fishing fleets, and close to the wine regions of Coonawarra, Padthaway, Cape Jaffa, Mt Benson and Wrattonbully.
